Support Us

Compassion Matters is offered to any school, for free. We believe that every child, whatever their background, needs these tools. The course is funded entirely by generous donations from individuals and trusts and is underpinned by research from the Dalai Lama Centre for Compassion.

“I’m trying to act kinder to others than I was before.” – Year 5 pupil, CM graduate

Please consider making a donation to help more children learn the power of compassion.

Make a one-off gift or regular gift:

  • Please complete the donation form to send a cheque or pay by card, or give online via PayPal.
  • Cheques made payable to The Dalai Lama Centre for Compassion (our overarching charity) can be sent to: Compassion Matters, 33 St Giles, Oxford, OX1 3LD, UK.

If you are UK tax-payer, please GiftAid your donation: this makes your gift worth 25p more per £1 to us – at no cost to you. (See donation form for GiftAid regs.) Higher-rate tax-payers may be eligible for tax-relief on donations – please see our tax-efficient giving form.)

 Fundraise for us:

If you, your child, class or school would like to raise money for us, we would be delighted to hear from you – please get in touch if you need our support with this.

Leave a gift in your will:

The DLCC is almost a decade old. We know our model works and changes children’s outlooks. If you would like to discuss leaving a gift in your will to support our work in the future, please contact Jimi Slattery, Executive Director or call 01865 238059.

Trusts and Foundations:

If you represent a trust or foundation from the UK or overseas and would like to know more about our work, please contact the Executive Director. We are grateful to the Camellia Foundation and the Gaden Phodrang  Foundation for their current support.
